Numeratic Prints

Numeratic printing is a technique for printing variable data such as serial numbers, barcodes and dates. The basic steps to be considered to obtain quality and readable prints are as follows:

1. Design and Data Preparation:

  • Clarify the fonts and code systems to be used (EAN, QR, DataMatrix, etc.).

  • Fonts and numbers must be at least 6 pt in size and readability must be ensured.

2. Material and Ink Selection:

  • Choose suitable materials such as thermal paper, plastic, PP or PVC.

  • Choose durable ink or laser engraving according to the usage environment.

3. Print Calibration and Testing:

  • Verify that the numbering and coding works without errors by prepress testing.

  • Determine the appropriate dpi settings for high resolution printing.

4. Verification and Quality Control:

  • Test the scannability of barcodes and QR codes.

  • Confirm the accuracy of the numbering and proceed to shipment.

With these steps, your numeric prints will be both accurate and high quality!
